                                                                                    “Wonderful relaxing stay...”

Reviewed April 30, 2012 NEW

We spent the weekend at the Berryville Inn April 28th and 29th...we couldn't have asked for anything more. Janet and Tom are wonderful hosts. Janet's incredible breakfasts are without compare...imaginative gourmet creations that we'll long remember. We have stayed at many bed and breakfasts around the country, and theirs is one of the very best. We were totally pampered throughout our stay...a welcome respite after recent weeks of long workdays. What a find”

Reviewed October 13, 2011

Last weekend in early October, my BFF and I decided to celebrate our mutual birthdays together and go off for a long week-end. What a beautiful drive from Northern Va to Berryville along route 7. The leaves were just turning and the temperature perfect. Berryville is such a quaint and charming town. The Berryville Inn was easy to find and our host and hostess, Janet and Tom made us feel right at home. We found the Inn to have comfortable beds, a nice glass of wine was offered upon our arrival and a to die for breakfast the next morning, after we woke up to the smell of coffee placed just outside our rooms. Janet was so helpful in helping us plan our stay. So we had plenty of places to explore. We want to make our stay at the Berryville Inn an annual affair. Joan

Berryville Inn - Great B&B!”

Reviewed October 12, 2011

The Berryville Inn is an incredibly quaint B&B with a convenient location near many restaurants in town. Innkeepers Janet and Tom were very friendly and helpful. The B&B is very clean and each room's decor is quite cozy - Janet has a great eye for interior design.

Make sure not to each too much for dinner as each morning Janet serves a delicious homemade breakfast (with dessert!).

Room Tip: French suite has a private balcony.

My wife and I received a weekend trip to the Berryville Inn as a gift. Janet and Tom were great hosts and they have an amazing house. It's very well decorated and has a very welcome feeling - very authentic B&B feeling. There are some great restaurants within walking distance, and some little towns within a few minutes drive in which you will find antique shops and farmer's markets. Overall we had a very relaxing stay and would suggest the Inn to anyone looking to get away for a weekend. We would really consider a return visit in the spring to see the amazing gardens surrounding the grounds.

Excellent”

Janet & Tom were excellent hosts. They were both extremely friendly and catered to the our needs. Janet whipped up an excellent 3 course breakfast each morning. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the bathroom was stockpiled with toiletries in case you forgot your own. Janet went above & beyond the necessities when it came to hosting a B&B.
We received a welcoming glass of wine upon arrival and fresh coffee each morning at our door. J&T even let us store our leftovers in their refrigerator so we could take them home with us the following morning. It was by far our best B&B experience.
Janet has truly thought of every detail. We can't wait for our next return.

Do not Miss this One!!”

A family wedding lead us to the Berryville where we were carefully attended to by Janet and Tom. Gourmet breakfast is de rigeur. Delicious breakfast entrees including ingredients from here organic garden, are followed by a breakfast "dessert." The rooms were perfectly furnished and spacious and quiet. The bathrooms well equipped, with loaner grooming supplies readily available. Janet willingly separated her darling golden, honeybee, from our 94 year old grandmother.Organic lemonade was served on the porch in the afternoon. We had full private use of the first floor given we had taken the 3 of 3 second floor guest rooms. The innkeepers onsite in their English basement, were always available, never intrusive. Items forgotten were mailed with out request.

"Our friendly hosts, Tom and Janet were very warm and welcoming. The gourmet breakfast was unique and delightful; and we loved the early am coffee in our darling Adirondack guestroom. Janet's eclectic artistic style makes the Inn and experience special and unique. Her good taste and knowledge of the area, showing genuine interest in the guests assures a memorable visit."  Marie and Cecilia, Dunn Loring, Va.

Berryville Inn reviews left in our guestrooms:

"We spent the weekend in the French Suite and felt completely pampered and taken care of by our gracious hosts. We were greeted with the "Romance Package" set up invitingly in our room. The fireplace was prepared for lighting, which was a wonderful experience over the weekend. We spent a lovely Happy Hour with Tom and Janet before walking downtown for a great dinner at the Battletown. We were stuffed to capacity at breakfast from unique gourmet offerings,  a multi course affair. We stayed at the Berryville Inn as a winter weekend getaway and it was so cozy that we didn't want to leave. We'll definately return soon!"  Allison and Martin, Ashburn, Va. March 05, 2012

"It was so wonderful staying in an atmosphere with innkeepers Tom and Janet with such personality and warmth; we felt like family members in the Chocolate Room. Everything was really special, nice touch with the guestroom ice water and morning coffee; soft spa robes; the gourmet breakfast was unique and delicious. Our inhouse couples massage was great!"  Catherine and David, Ashburn, Va. April 15, 2012

"We chose the Berryville Inn to spend our 12th wedding anniversary, booking the French Suite in early June. We were totally impressed with the grand 1910 architecture, the lavish dining and library rooms for our use, and our gorgeous suite with French colors and antique furnishings. Our stay was not only comfortable and we felt so pampered, but the outside grounds of unique gardens, patios, and porches were so enjoyable. We found an anniversary tradition!"  Andrea and Charles, Baltimore, Md

"We loved our stay at The Inn which is really beautiful and comfortable, innkeepers Tom and Janet very casual and helpful with places to visit, driving directions, etc. After giving us a garden tour, Janet recommended her favorite flowers with directions to local garden nurseries. Loved the robust gourmet breakfast! We visited local vineyards, biked in darling town of Berryville, and took a wildflower hike at the nearby U. of Va. Arboretum. We plan another visit this summer to enjoy the W. Va. Charlestown Racetrack and Harpers Ferry, and canoe on the nearby Shenandoah River."  Robert and Kathryn, Alexandria, Va.

"Christmastime at the Berryville Inn was so special. The Inn was decorated for the holidays and we stayed for 3 nights in the Chocolate Room, with our children in the Adirondack Room, which worked so well for us all. The kids had such fun at the Inn and around Berryville. We loved the multi course breakfasts and it's obvious that Janet's a real foodie! We're returning this summer to take the kids rafting down the Shenandoah River at Watermelon Park."  Archie, Elizabeth, Jonathon, and Julia,  Raleigh, NC

"We loved our visit to the Berryville Inn in July when we attended a local wedding. As we stayed for only the night of the wedding, we're returning for our wedding anniversary with a couples massage at the Inn and to spend more time as the area has so many fun things to do! We plan to attend one of Shenandoah Conservatory's theater offerings. We again want to stay in the Chocolate Room as it's so glamerous and comfortable!"  Kristi and Robert, Charlottesville, Va.
